Package design can sometimes be more important than the actual product. In a retail setting, your packaging is the only thing there to draw in a potential customer. It is important that the design not only clearly conveys what the product is but also why the product should be purchased. I have been designing packaging for over 15 years and my process is always the same: create a design that catches the customer’s eye, stands out on shelves, builds and increases brand recognition, and clearly conveys the important features of the product within.
